Painting this series helped me seek clarity and structure during a personally difficult time the winter and spring of 2025. When I thought I was moving on with this transition, my 96 year old father-in-law suddenly went through a very serious illness. After 18 days in the hospital he miraculously survived and returned home! The time I spent on his care and case management set me back. I was determined to move forward and use my painting practice to build resilience and untangle my emotions. This series tells the story of my journey.
